Emerging Professionals of Portland

Helping Portland's young professionals flourish

Tools and connections you need to build your Portland career

Emerging Professionals of Portland (EPOP) offers young professionals a place to develop their careers, build a peer network, and gain exposure to business leaders. (All are welcome… “young” is a state of mind!) Programming is focused on educational and professional development, as well as civic engagement and networking.

Last Tuesday

Hosted on the last Tuesday of every month, these events provide networking opportunities with other professionals, and help broaden your knowledge of Portland’s business and civic community. EPOP organizes two variations of Last Tuesday events:

Nonprofit Last Tuesdays feature two nonprofit partner organizations, offering you a chance to engage civically on a higher level and learn about various charitable missions in our community.

Professional Development Last Tuesdays feature guest speakers discussing specific aspects of professional development.

EPOP Exclusives

This event series is geared toward connecting emerging professionals with established civic and business leaders in the Portland region. Exclusives occur three times a year and include a moderated yet informal Q&A session with a featured guest or panel. There also is an opportunity to network and enjoy complimentary drinks and appetizers.

I’ve been a part of EPOP for two years, and it has been an amazing experience! I have met many great people and built last longing relationships, personally and professionally, which has been one of the best parts about being involved.
