The Portland Metro Chamber has been proudly advocating for the business interests of the greater Portland region for well over 100 years. We’ve earned the reputation of one of the most influential and effective business organizations in the state, and we could not have done that without you! Together, we have helped align the compass for the advocacy work that all our respected organizations, businesses, education, and cultural institutions strive towards every day.
Building on these successes, we are proud to announce a new set of opportunities for members to advocate for the business community: the Portland Metro Chamber’s Community Leader Network. This new program will broaden the opportunities for members to get involved in crafting local policy by using their unique skills.
Apply now to become a community leader!
Are you someone who enjoys engaging directly with our community’s leaders? Are you the person in your neighborhood that your neighbors lean on when there is an issue? Are you the first to volunteer to help out a new candidate? Have you hosted or been a part of business district tours, Town Halls, or neighborhood coffees? Do you have a strong relationship with a current elected official? Do you like sharing your unique views and experiences to create more equitable public policy? Or would you like to learn how to master some of these techniques? That is what the Community Leader Network is all about, providing members with immediate opportunities to get directly involved and learn how to most effectively advocate for the business community.
We know how valuable your time is, and your participation and involvement are greatly valued. Our members have been the backbone of our success. By working closely with our elected officials, our entire community will benefit.
Thank you for being a part of the Portland Metro Chamber and for your continued support in advocating for our business community.
