We are excited to announce a new chapter for BOMA Oregon, NAIOP Oregon, Oregon Smart Growth and the Portland Metro Chamber. Our organizations are collaborating on advocacy initiatives to advance the interests of the commercial real estate industry.
This initiative will create the Portland Metro Chamber Public Affairs Collaborative for the commercial real estate industry. Our goal is to work together on shared local and state priorities that benefit the commercial real estate industry as a whole.
This partnership is the culmination of months of planning. Together we will leverage our collective expertise and resources to work more closely on policy issues impacting commercial real estate and build a unified voice on growth in the Portland region and across Oregon.
At a time when the Portland metro regional economy is facing significant economic headwinds, this partnership is essential to build a culture of unified action and therefore achieve greater impact toward our shared goals.
Each organization will maintain its own identity, membership and independent board of directors and staff, while pooling resources to create a new position within the Portland Metro Chamber, that directs a proactive policy agenda on commercial real estate.
We see a bright future for Oregon by working hand-in-hand with our business partners.
