Sydney joined Downtown Portland Clean & Safe in 2020 and has a diverse background with over twenty years of experience in entrepreneurship, non-profit work, and corporate leadership. Sydney has a proven track record in collaborating with multiple stakeholders including downtown neighborhoods associations, business districts, non-profit boards, government agencies, and small businesses. She has worked extensively with streetscapes, sidewalk amenities, and activations to benefit business and retail districts. She has an in-depth knowledge of both retail and hotel and lodging industry which allow her to develop strategic initiative that have significant impact.
Sydney is currently on the board of the International Air Service Development and has been on the boards of Venture Portland, Division/Clinton Business Association, and PDX Bridge Fest.
Sydney graduated from Portland State University and in her spare time, Sydney spends time biking and hiking Forest Park, remodeling older properties, helping run her family small business, and hanging out with her backyard bees.
