This week, the Portland Business Alliance celebrated the official re-opening of its offices and community conference room spaces! The celebration marked the first time that the Alliance’s Board, staff and members joined together in person since March 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic forced the emptying of offices, schools, religious and community spaces all across the state (and world!) with social distancing mandates.
“We are thrilled to welcome our stakeholders and employees back to our offices in beautiful Downtown Portland after more than two years,” said Andrew Hoan, President and CEO of the Portland Business Alliance. “Downtown and our city has been through a lot since we last gathered and bringing our teams back to the center city is part of how we begin to re-energize our city’s heartbeat. We challenge all our fellow office tenants to join us in telling your story about coming back to downtown. Let’s do this, Portland!”
With this re-opening, the Alliance welcomes back members of our community to use its Brown & Brown Conference Room, which was recently updated to include modern technologies that allow for hybrid and virtual meeting formats. The Brown & Brown Conference Room is available for meetings, trainings, informal gatherings and/or retreats.
Jessica Getman, President of Brown & Brown Northwest Insurance, shared at Wednesday’s celebration, “I’m excited that this conference room will be open for use by our community! We have a great resource to share, complete with hybrid meeting technologies and breathtaking views of our beautiful city, its bridges, river, and our glorious Mount Hood.”
