Kat’s career has spanned various industries and sectors, from universities and nonprofits to startups in agriculture and education.

Kat began her career teaching English in Seoul, South Korea. She leveraged this experience into a program management role at Northwestern Law School, working with international students. From there, she continued working on programming and events at 1871, a nonprofit innovation hub in Chicago, Illinois. Looking to expand her experience, Kat transitioned into marketing and communications roles at high-growth startups.
