Makaylaa Clancy joined the Chamber in May 2022 as the Membership Engagement and Events Coordinator. In her role, she helps coordinate onboarding, engaging, and featuring all Alliance members, writing weekly newsletters, supporting events, coordinating the social media calendar, and much more (she wears many hats).
After receiving her B.A in Communications from the University of Puget Sound, Makaylaa began her professional route into communications and, prior to joining the Chamber, she worked at OHSU and the Portland Saturday Market, so she has a deep connection to the Rose City.
In her free time, Makaylaa likes eating the brisket curry from one of her favorite restaurant’s EEM with her fiancée Dez, taking her cat Finn on a walk outside (yes, a cat), and planning her next tattoo.
